North American wildlife experts will be meeting in Ottawa on May 27, 2012 to present issues that pertain to fish and wildlife management. The event is spearheaded by the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) and over 20 other sponsors and partners.
According to a media release, by OFAH, the congress will address:
“Topics will include invasive species; fish and wildlife diseases; the socio-economic impact of fishing and hunting; the role of science versus public opinion in policy decisions; species restoration and protection; monitoring, assessment and management of natural resources and related topics …The full Congress program is available online at www.nfwcc.com ”
